Tour Day Checklist

Please arrive 15 MINUTES before your scheduled time to allow time for check-in.

*If you are running late, we cannot guarantee to complete all stations on the tour as we may have other tours scheduled on that day.

ADD your farm tour to your calendar and send all tour participants the following information:

BRING Everyone must ensure they have the following:

  • · Drinking water in a reusable bottle, you will need it!
  • · Closed-toe shoes, no flip-flops
  • · A sun hat and sunscreen
  • · Appropriate clothes in case of weather changes
  • · Optional: Snacks for preschoolers, or lunch to have after your tour!

MEET Enter at the main gate located at 1055 Dunford Way, Sunnyvale and wait at the picnic tables for your tour guide to greet you. If you arrive early, please wait for your guide to return from the previous tour – they won’t be long. Thank you!

PARK You can park cars easily for free on Dunford Way, anywhere along our farm perimeter fence, including school buses. No parking is available inside our farm gates. Please be aware of all parking signage on the Raynor Park side of Dunford Way. Be sure not to park directly in front of any gates, thank you.

PAY Please settle any balance due and ensure to check-in your final group numbers with your friendly tour guide before the tour commences.

PICNIC There are picnic tables on-site for snack time OR there is a very nice community park nearby: Raynor Park which is on Quail Avenue with a playground for extended lunch before or after your tour.

WET WEATHER The weather can change quickly on the farm and we do not provide rain gear. Tours happen rain or shine so be prepared with suitable gear for wet weather, umbrellas can get in the way so rain coats are preferable. We can tour in light rain and it’s still enjoyable for the students. In the instance of heavy rain or extreme weather, please email us or call the number above to reschedule your tour.
